i thought so. i've been in a time warp all week, working from 8 to 6 or so and then going home to work on stuff. blargh. might even get to work on saturday! i just keep reminding myself that since i'm not salaried, i get overtime. so that keeps me in check.

had my optometrist appointment today, finally. i made the appointment about 2 months ago... but apparently my eyes are healthy & all that, only slight adjustments to the prescription. so with my overtime $ i get to pay the car insurance and get new glasses & contacts! fun! i'll figure out something for ME to splurge on a little bit, but nothing comes to mind quite yet.

ever feel like you just can't go out and get something done & over with simply? at the appointment today, i was sitting in the waiting room with those damn dilating drops percolating in my eyeballs, when an "emergency" comes in... turns out the lady has some sort of eye virus, so they had to bleach down the exam room before i could get checked out and leave. so i was sitting there wondering how long it would take, blinking into the flourescent lights, and attempting to check out some better homes-n-gardens to distract myself. not terribly annoying, but i shouldn't have been there for 2 hours.
